I don't know whether faxes "print" blank rows of dots all the way to the end of the transmission or just say end of text whether at end of page or not.įaxes do compress the vertical space so that they can print a line at the top showing source of fax, but they shouldn't do so by omitting a random line. You might try including a footer on your invoices at the very bottom, see if it moves up from the bottom when the faxes skip a line. Sometimes several fax rows of some dots (a line of text) are being skipped between the rows of no dots. You don't say that you're printing from a computer (line aware) to the fax machines, so not computer.įax will be aware of blank lines as several rows of no dots, which it will compress. What part of the communication channel is aware of lines - fax is several rows of dots that look like a line of text. You're missing whole lines at a time, never bottom half of one line, top half of next line. ![]() Short answer - be sure to turn off error correction in fax settings.
